Postdoctoral research at the University of Oslo – Institute of Clinical Medicine

I am a research psychologist with 6 years of research expertise in clinical communication, qualitative methods, patient engagement. I have worked during my PhD in a research group experienced in patient engagement, where I have collaborated in creating new tools, measures, and innovations in the field of patient engagement with high impact nationally and worldwide. I have also autonomously collaborated with other research groups in Milano and I am now part of a strong research group leader in Norway in the field of clinical communication research and teaching.

From when I started my research career, I have authored about 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals, and 3 book chapters, in the field of psychological and healthcare interventions, patient engagement, patient experiences. I am the first author of more than half of them, and the last author of 2 articles. This allowed me to reach an IF of 8 in Google Scholar (246 citations) and 7 in Scopus (148 citations) to date. I have also collaborated to successful grants applications to different funding sources, both regional, national (Italy, Norway) and European. In these years, I had also the possibility to collect experience as clinical – group and individual – psychologist, and to collect some teaching experience.
