Chrysi Rapanta

Senior Researcher

Chrysi Rapanta is Senior Researcher in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She is also an experienced teacher trainer in the fields of Dialogic Teaching and Argumentation methods. Before that, she was Assistant Professor of Business Communications at Zayed University in Dubai. Her research fields are: Argumentation and Education, Communication analysis, and use of New Technologies for learning. She is currently part of the co-ordination teams of three European Projects in the fields of Education and Communication. She has published in high-quality international journals such as: the Review of Educational Research, the British Journal of Educational Technologies, Informal Logic, and the Journal of Philosophy of Education. She forms part of the Editorial Board of the journals Dialogical Pedagogy and Business & Professional Communication Quarterly.
